At the event, meerecompany operated a joint booth with the Korean Embassy, showcasing its Revo-i surgical robot. By doing so, it introduced the excellence of Korean medical technology to the local audience and identified potential opportunities in the Tunisian market.

meerecompany plans to use its participation in this event as a starting point to actively expand into the North African medical market. Building on its previous export of the Revo-i system to Morocco, the company also intends to strengthen cooperation in surgical technique exchange, education, and marketing.

Ho Kun Lee, Executive Vice President and Head of the Surgical Robot Division at meerecompany, stated, “Through our participation in FITA 2025, we were able to deepen our understanding of the North African medical market and establish meaningful connections with local institutions,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen cooperation with government bodies and further expand our global market presence.”

Meanwhile, meerecompany previously took its first step into the North African market by exporting the Revo-i surgical system to Agadir University Hospital Center in Morocco, a facility with over 800 beds.
