meerecompany will open a booth at the Korean Medical Devices Showroom where surgery demonstrations using its laparoscopic surgical robot “Revo-i” can be done. Only pre-selected companies can participate and attend the “Korean Medical Devices Showroom.”

KIMES 2021 at Seoul COEX is a place where a range of K-medical devices from K-quarantine, robot medical devices, smart healthcare systems, and convergence medical devices for rehabilitation will be on display. Officials from meerecompany say that they have “high hopes for the event since it will be an opportunity to show Revo-i to local medical professionals and foreign buyers to use them directly.” They also said they will “find new buyers and actively promote Revo-i through online and offline trade fairs which will be held during the KIMES 2021.”

Senior director Ho Kun Lee of the Surgical Robot Business Division of meerecompany announced, “We have successfully completed the additional Revo-i clinical trial for various indications at Severance Hospital. This means that the performance and safety of Revo-i have been adequately proven.”

He then said, “More hospitals are showing interest in using surgical robots in surgeries. Recently, 100 surgeries were done with Revo-i at the Gibbeum Hospital, and its uses for gynecological surgeries are increasing rapidly at the Queen’s Park Women’s Hospital.” He highlighted that “We will commit more efforts to promote the excellent performance of Revo-i to medical professionals both in Korea and abroad to provide its benefits to more patients.”
