meerecompany Supplies Surgical Robot 'Revo-i' to Bundang Jesaeng Hospital

- Korean surgical robot Revo-i accelerates adoption at major Korean hospitals

- Adoption of Bundang Jesaeng Hospital, a 520-bed general hospital, following Severance Hospital, Korea Cancer Center Hospital, and Myoungju Hospital

- Bundang Jesaeng Hospital expects patients to recover faster and return to normal activities, offering advanced robotic surgery with Revo-i

Revo-i, a surgical robot developed by meerecompany, is being introduced one after another to major general hospitals in Korea.

meerecompany (CEO Joon Koo Kim) recently announced on the 19th that it has signed a contract to supply surgical robot Revo-i to Bundang Jesaeng Hospital, a general hospital located in Bundang, Seongnam-si, South Korea. In response, the two organizations signed an MOU on the 18th to introduce Revo-i and strengthen cooperation in various fields such as technology development, education and training, and research.

Revo-i is a surgical robot that was first domestically developed and successfully commercialized by meerecompany. It features precise movement with high-resolution 3D stereoscopic imaging, wide view, and multi-joint instruments, and helps surgeons to perform sophisticated procedures in an optimal surgical environment. In addition, its intuitive design makes it relatively easy for doctors new to robotic surgery to learn. It has already been recognized for its performance in successful overseas market expansion such as Uzbekistan and Morocco, and recently signed an export agreement with Russia.

Meanwhile, Bundang Jesaeng Hospital is a 520-bed general hospital that has received a 1st grade in medical quality assessments for "acute stroke, lung cancer, colorectal cancer, breast cancer, pneumonia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, hemodialysis, prophylactic antibiotics for surgery, and anesthesia adequacy". The hospital has been actively attracting overseas patients from Russia, Mongolia, and Central Asia, and has been actively spreading Korea's advanced medical technology to doctors and patients around the world. Through this Revo-i introduction, Bundang Jesaeng Hospital is able to offer robotic surgery, which allows patients to benefit from robotic surgery's advantages, such as less pain, a faster recovery, and a quicker return to normal activities.

Dr. Hwa Yeop Na, President of Bundang Jesaeng Hospital said, "We have high expectations for Revo-i's efficiency and ease of operation as a surgical robot developed by meerecompany's advanced technology and creativity. We are pleased to introduce robotic surgical equipment to help patients with delicate, sophisticated, and low-side effect surgeries, and to provide next-level medical services with the hospital's mid-level medical staff."

Joon Koo Kim, CEO of meerecompany said, "We are pleasure to supply Revo-i to Bundang Jesaeng Hospital which plays a major role in promoting Korea's advanced medical technology overseas and serving as a regional hub. We expect patients' satisfaction to increase as advanced robotic surgery is made possible through Revo-i at Bundang Jesaeng Hospital."

He also added, "We will continue to do our best to help Revo-i benefit more hospitals and patients in the future."
